About California Solar Power Expo 2017
The U.S. solar market is soaring. By the end of 2016, the U.S. solar industry is projected to install 14.5 GW of capacity, which is nearly double the amount installed in a record-breaking 2015. California is leading the pack with projection of current installations to hit 22,645 MW of solar electric capacity in the next five years, making it the perfect spot for the business-to-business event, California Solar Power Expo.
The California Solar Power Expo is an interactive event designed for solar, smart energy, and storage professionals who are working in and with the California solar market to make powerful business connections. The event will feature exhibitor-led interactive training for installers as well as networking opportunities.
About Solar Power Events
Presented by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), Solar Power Events strives to keep the industry moving forward by offering cutting-edge events centered around the trends, technology, and research that power the industry.
Unlike other solar industry events, all proceeds support the expansion of the US solar energy market through SEIA’s and SEPA’s year-round research and education activities, as well as SEIA’s advocacy efforts.
Established in 1974, the Solar Energy Industries Association is the national trade association for the solar energy industry. Through advocacy and education, SEIA and its 1,100 member companies are building a strong solar industry. As the voice of the industry, SEIA works to make solar a mainstream, viable, and significant energy source by expanding markets, removing market barriers, strengthening the industry and educating the public on the benefits of solar energy. For more information, visit seia.org.
SEPA facilitates collaboration across the electric power industry to enable the smart deployment and integration of solar, storage, demand response and other enabling technologies. SEPA has more than 1,000 members that represent utilities, solar and related industries, non-profit, education and public entities. We offer education, trusted research and a collective platform for all stakeholders to be a part of the clean energy future. For more information, visit solarelectricpower.org.
