Vaccination Policy Update (Jan. 6, 2022)

The city of Boston announced a new vaccination policy to address rising COVID-19 cases. Starting on January 15, individuals will be required to show proof of completed* COVID-19 vaccination in order to enter indoor spaces, including the Westin Boston Seaport District meeting rooms and Harpoon Brewery. The requirement also extends to any restaurants and bars within the Westin Boston Seaport District.

We have updated our health and safety guidelines to reflect the new vaccination-only policy for our upcoming events, RE+ Northeast and the co-located Community Solar Power Forum, in accordance with health requirements from the city of Boston.

*Per the City of Boston’s policy, those currently not vaccinated must have their first vaccine administered no later than January 15 and the second doses administered no later than February 15.

Additionally, all contractors, staff, and employees working in those locations will be required to be fully vaccinated.

Proof of Vaccination

Regardless of whether you are an attendee, speaker, or exhibitor, if you want to participate in RE+ Northeast / the Community Solar Power Forum, you will need to show that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

RE+ Events is partnering with CLEAR Health Pass for vaccination verification. Event participants will be able to utilize the CLEAR Health Pass mobile app for convenient access to RE+ Northeast and the Community Solar Power Forum.

Face Masks. Face coverings will be required for all attendees and staff. Masks will be provided for anyone who needs one. If you forget your mask or wear a face covering that is not permitted on site, then we will provide you with a replacement mask. All face masks must fully cover the nose and mouth. If you choose to use a face shield, you must also wear a mask underneath.

The following are not permitted:

  • Neck Gaiters
  • Open chin triangle bandanas
  • Face masks with valves, vents, mesh material or holes of any kind.

Show Management will consider, on a case by case basis, exceptions to this policy for medical reasons if accompanied by a note from your physician.
