Thank you for attending Solar Power Midwest!

Over 600 attendees joined the co-located Greenbuild International Exhibition, which is the world's largest conference and expo dedicated to green building.  The event was one to remember! Between the sold-out exhibit hall, and a full schedule which included the following:

  • An opening plenary featuring Amal Clooney.
  • A fireside chat discussing the state of solar in the Midwest with Abigail Ross Hopper, President and Chief Executive Officer, Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Howard Learner, President and Executive Director, Environmental Law and Policy Center, ELPC.
  • A special session that looked at the role of the utility in grid modernization, with Julia Hamm, President and Chief Executive Officer, Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), Shay Bahramirad, Vice President, Engineering and Smart Grid, Commonwealth Edison Company, Phil Dion, Vice President, Technology Business Solutions, American Electric Power, and Camilo Serna, Vice President, Corporate Strategy, DTE Energy.
