Get the most out of your visit to Solar Power Midwest by attending SEIA’s Women's Empowerment Summit!

The SEIA Women’s Empowerment Summit aims to educate, facilitate connections, and provide thought leadership in the solar industry. This Summit’s theme is Diversity Empowers Solar Business. The event is designed to engage participants through thoughtful and interactive training, panel discussions, and small group discussions. At the end of the event, participants will have an action plan with ideas to start implementing positive changes at their organizations. Join the discussion with key industry leaders as we cover practical topics, tools, and tips related to diversity and inclusion.

It is our goal for everyone to feel welcome and included at this event and in the solar industry. Women, men, and those of all gender identities are encouraged to attend. Attend and bring an ally with you so you can work together to make meaningful change at your company after the event!

SEIA values sustainability. In July 2018, SEIA and WGL Energy Services, Inc. (WGL Energy) announced a new Clean Energy Partnership to green the electricity use and offset the greenhouse gas emissions associated with SEIA's office, travel and events. Through this 2018 - 2019 partnership, WGL Energy will annually provide SEIA with 373 solar renewable energy credits (SRECs) and 552 Green-e® Climate certified carbon offset after calculating approximate emissions from SEIA staff travel, commuting, event attendee travel, and office and event electricity usage. Click here for more information on sustainability efforts at SEIA.
